By The Light Of The Prophet’s Moon

City sights dazzle,

yet the quiet within hums,

the heart seeks its path.

Lost in trackless sand,

until a star held steady,

my eye, fixed to yours.

A desert of stars,

then your voice, a waking compass:

the dune path unfolds.

A sudden turning,

the heart, a seeking compass,

finds its only North.

A seed in a hard shell,

the sun coaxes through its crack,

longing towards the light.

Seal of the Prophets,

Radiant across all things,

calls forth all seekers

The river calls me,

being pulled forth by the current,

and the tide is home.

A dark shoreless night,

the full moon radiates its light,

I melt, embraced, whole.

Primordial Light,

Muhammad Rasullulah ﷺ-

My corpse comes alive

All rivers reflect,

the single moon in the sky,

All thirst finds water.

My barren heart drinks

the moon-spilled light of your word.

Comes harvest of peace.

My spirit blooms bright

Ready to leave this vessel

Bright Visions burst forth

How can I pour thanks?

Your word reflects the moon’s full light.

My heart, a sacred bowl.

Your effluent glow

Splendorous illuminant

Blinded golden white

By the Prophet’s Light

Muhammad Habibullah,

I become awake.
