~نور قلبي (nur qalbi), the light of my heart~

THE QURAN IS VERY SPECIAL TO ME BECAUSE IT IS THE WORDS OF ALLAH. IT TEACHES ME HOW TO LIVE MY LIFE THE RIGHT WAY AND HELP ME TO BECOME A BETTER MUSLIM.

When I read it, I feel calm and close to Allah, like He is speaking to me through His words.

The Quran is not just a book to read, it’s a guide that shows me how to be kind, patient, and thankful in everything I do.

In Surah Al-Baqarah, Allah says:

This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah.

This verse reminds me that the Quran is perfect and it is the truth. It makes me want to read it more and understand it better. Sometimes, when I’m going through something difficult or feel sad, I listen to Quran recitations.

The words make my heart feel at peace again. There’s another verse that I really like from

Surah Ar-Ra’d:

Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.

This verse reminds me that remembering Allah, like by reading Quran or making dua, can calm me down when I’m stressed. It helps me to trust that Allah is always with me, even when things don’t go my way.

One time, I remember feeling very nervous before my exams. I was scared I would forget everything I studied. That night, I decided to read a few pages of the Quran before sleeping.

As I read, I felt my heart became calm. It reminded me that Allah is in control and that I just need to do my best and trust Him. The next day, I felt more confident and peaceful.

That experience made me realize how powerful the Quran really is. It can bring peace to your heart even when you are worried or afraid. I also learn many lessons from the stories in the Quran.

For example, the story of Prophet Yusuf (A.S) teaches me about patience. Even though he faced many problems such as being thrown into a well by his own brothers, he never lost faith in Allah.

And they brought his shirt, stained with false blood. He responded, “No! Your souls must have tempted you to do something evil.

So I can only endure with beautiful patience! It is Allah’s help that I seek to bear your claims.”

This makes me want to be stronger when I face challenges too. The Quran also teaches me how to behave. Such as respecting my parents, helping others, and being honest. It reminds me to always try my best to do what’s right, even when no one is watching.

To me, the Quran is like a light in my heart. It guides me whenever I feel lost or unsure about what to do.

I know I still have a lot to learn, but I hope that as I grow older, I can understand the Qur’an more and follow its teachings better.

Reading it helps me remember that Allah loves me and wants the best for me, always.
