Rayn’s Senses

I am Rayn, eleven years old. My grandmother told me to go with her on a plane. It is going to be fun to see what it is like to be riding on an aeroplane for the first time. I want to know what it is like on a plane, so that I can see how fast we go once we land and appreciate all these experiences on a plane because of all of the senses I experience. My hearing, speech, touch, smell and taste; hearing the engine roar when it starts and feeling the plane’s vibrations through the sense of touch, the plane felt very comfortable. From my sense of smell, I sniffed the perfume. It got me to think about what if I lost my all my senses, I would feel very sad, and I would not experience the joy of life and find it difficult to do things in life. So Allah ﷻ is giving us the power to see, touch and smell things in life and we should not take the power for granted sent by Allah ﷻ because Allah ﷻ is the owner of these senses and it is by Allah ﷻ who can take it back from us anytime He wants.

When I was in Penang, I wanted to try the rented e-bike, and wanted to see how fast it goes because I love racing and I like to zoom. I wanted to learn how to ride an e-bike to use it for the future and learn to help to repair an e-bike because I like moving my hands and helping others. I like to help others since all my senses does not belong to me and it belongs to Allah ﷻ, so I will use all my senses to help others so that Allah ﷻ will be happy with me.

I hope my reflection can help my friends understand that Allah ﷻ loves us very much as He help us to heal when we are sick and He have given us all the senses so that we have the power to show our love to Him back by helping others.
