The recent Seeker’s Retreat at Masjid Sembawang was a source of immense blessing and gratitude for me.
At this point in my life, such moments are especially precious.
I ask Allah SWT to grant me ease and open doors to attend many more retreats ahead.
What made this retreat so special was not just the knowledge we received, but the beautiful bonds formed with the wonderful people there. I felt as though we were one big, happy family.
It’s not every day that you’re surrounded by such kind, warm, and sincere souls.
The love and peace shared among all of us truly touched my heart. It reminded me of how important it is to have good company in this journey of faith, and how together, we can lift each other up.
The knowledge shared by Ustaz Sameer was such a blessing. I felt it deeply, and I pray that these teachings settle in my heart and soul, helping me become a better Muslim, InshaAllah.
But perhaps the most beautiful transformation for me was through the practice of zikir (remembrance). It has brought so much peace into my life, calming my heart and drawing me even closer to Allah SWT. Every time I recite it, I feel His presence, and it’s a reminder of His endless mercy.
This past year has been full of challenges. After I broke my arm, just ten days later, my dear husband had a stroke. It was a testing time for both of us, but SubhanAllah, Allah SWT’s mercy and blessings never left us.
I didn’t feel a single ounce of pain, not even needing painkillers and I was able to stay strong through it all.
For my husband, Allah SWT sent us a kind and skilled masseur from Jakarta, arranged by our dear Sheikh.
Alhamdulillah, my husband is recovering well now and will soon be discharged from the hospital, which brings so much relief to my heart.
I am so grateful for everyone’s du’as and the love and support we’ve received.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
I truly believe that your good prayers have been a source of strength for us. May Allah SWT bless Ustaz Sameer and our beloved Sheikh with good health, long lives, and continued blessings. Ameen.
As Allah reminds us in the Qur’an,
“Indeed, with hardship comes ease.”
Qur’an 94:6
This verse has helped me during these trials.
It’s a reminder that no matter how difficult things get, Allah SWT always brings ease after the hardship, even when we can’t see it right away.
