My Journey To The Quran

I feel very blessed to be able to learn the Quran. Allah s.w.t. has been so kind to us human beings.

I started learning Iqra One in 2020. From Iqra One to halfway through Iqra Six, I learned with my Ustazah. Later, my father started Iqra classes on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

After I finished Iqra Six, my father asked me to repeat it because I was not very fluent yet, so I repeated it. Alhamdulillah, I am now on page four of the Quran.

It was all thanks to Allah s.w.t. for allowing me to read the Quran. I never thought that I would make it this far, to where I am today. InshaAllah, you will have the chance to experience this too.

I feel really happy. I cannot express the joy I feel when reading the Quran. When I was in Primary Three, I could not wait to read the Quran because some of my friends had already started.

of my friends had already started.

Alhamdulillah, I am now reading the Quran. I read the Quran every Monday and Thursday. Imagine if Allah did not make us Muslims — we would not have known any of this.

Allah s.w.t. cares for everyone in the universe. Even if you are a non‑Muslim, Allah s.w.t. shows care and concern for everyone. However, Allah s.w.t. did not give the Quran to non‑Muslims, so we must be very grateful to Allah s.w.t. for giving us the Quran. Allah s.w.t. is very merciful, even though He did not give Islam to the non‑believers.

If Allah s.w.t. had not placed me in the family I am in now, I would not have had the chance to read the Quran. Being on page four of the Quran already makes me feel very overwhelmed. Even though I am in a secular school, I am reading the Quran.

This shows that even if your children are not in an Islamic school, you can teach them about Islam yourself. However, you must make sure you are teaching them properly. You must also set a good example for your children.

teaching them properly. You must also set a good example for your children.

Reading the Quran is a good deed. By doing it, you can earn rewards for the hereafter. If you stumble a lot despite practising, you will get double the reward. I am sure you would love to go to heaven. However, you can only do so if you have many good deeds. You should try to read at least one page of the Quran per day and make it a daily habit.

You should never insult the Quran or Islam, as it can earn you bad deeds. Always try to stay close to your Islamic teacher who teaches you about Islam.

KEEP IN TOUCH WITH YOUR PRAYER AND THE QURAN. YOU SHOULD ALSO GET A QURAN TEACHER SO THAT YOU CAN HAVE A TEACHER WHO CAN CORRECT YOUR MISTAKES. WHEN YOU GET A TEACHER YOU SHOULD NOT FEEL SHY WHEN YOUR TEACHER CORRECTS YOU FOR YOUR MISTAKES.

The Quran has many miracles. Most of the miracles that Allah s.w.t. talks about are about the prophets before Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. The Quran is very special, unlike any other book. Allah did not allow anyone to change the Quran. Even if someone tried, the Muslims who have memorised the Quran would realise it immediately.

This also shows how much Allah cares about our well‑being. Even if you doubt the Quran and ask very strange questions, there will be an answer, inshaAllah.

Alhamdulillah, Allah has placed us in the ummah of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w., so we must be extremely grateful — like people who finally receive food after starving for many days.
